concept class:
I was thinking around on something and came up with this:
30-40 energy
armor: 80
weapons: one handed maces and one handed hammers. maces 16-25 and one handed hammers 15-30
close combat, with aiding magic
Attributes:
Dual weapon wielding (primary attribute, makes it possible to use two different weapons at the same time, this will also increase attackspeed by 1% per lvl. it is needed to use two weapons to be able to attack )
Energy restoration (secondary attribute, would make it possible to give others energy from themself, and to gain energy too)
focus (secondary attribute, lets the player focus to do more damage and to do different things faster)
arcane arts (secondary attribute, allows the player to use small arcane magic, short casting time but also quite bad effect)
sample skills:
Irritating combo (dual weapon wielding) 10 energy, 1/4 sec casting, 10 sec recharge
you attack from two directions at the same time and disrupts the enemy, if that enemy was using a spell it is disabled for 7-20 seconds
"use this!" ( energy restoration ) 1-8 energy, 5 sec recharge
shout. target ally gets 1-8 energy from you
clear meditation ( focus ) 10 energy, 3 sec casting, 20 sec recharge
preparation. your next 1-16 attacks is unblockable and makes +5-27 damage
arcane pain ( arcane arts ) 10 energy, 1/4 sec casting, 10 sec recharge
spell. target enemy takes 10-20 damage for two seconds.
what do you think about it?

Built in increase attack speed?
Full armor at 80?!?!?!
Magic at 30?!!?!?!
Dual wielding weapons that do 30 damage.
X_X jesus christ.
lets break it down:
IAS (Increase attack speed). All IAS skills are either: Stances or Shouts. All IAS skills last for a SHORT duration. Theres a reason for that.
Armor level: Armor level is proportionate to use in battle plus the magic level. the Warrior and Paragon is at 80, but their energy is at 2 regen and only 20
Weapons: Higher weapon dmg is balanced by lower hits, giving it a similar average dmg. Weapon skills utility also functions in the overall equation.
Dual wielding VERY powerful weapons with increased attack speed, high armor and high magic creates an INCREDIBLY imbalanced character.

Well, to be honest, it does work in some cases...
In fact, the more I re-read this and think about it... Hey, I've seen this before.
